What we do and where we have come from
The BVCA membership comprises 220 private equity and venture capital firms ("Full" members) with an accumulated total of approximately £32 billion funds under management as well as over 230 "Associate" members who provide a variety of legal, tax, regulatory and consultative services to the fund management houses. Private equity and venture capital perform, without doubt, vital roles in the UK economy and will surely continue to play leading parts in the recovery, revival and ultimate restructuring of the British, European and global economies in the years ahead.
