Energy, Environment and Technology Board

Objective

The Energy, Environment and Technology Board is a consortium of leaders from venture capital and private equity firms who invest across the spectrum of clean technologies, infrastructure and renewable energy projects and are dedicated to the stimulus for clean and sustainable energy jobs and economic development.  The EET Board works to ensure the BVCA's engagement with Government and all other stakeholders accurately represents this segment.

Activities

  • Drive a UK energy policy agenda on behalf of the new energy community
  • Facilitate the transition from a carbon-based economy to a clean energy economy
  • Realise energy efficiency in the existing infrastructure
  • Halt climate change by increasing low carbon electricity generation
  • Raise the profile of new energy and clean tech investing and promote it to relative 3rd parties
  • Create a network where relationships can be built for entrepreneurs, investors, advisors and policy makers
