Before joining the BBC as a Rugby correspondent in 1972, Ian Robertson enjoyed a short but successful rugby career that including vice-captaincy of the Scottish rugby team. Since then, Ian has commentated from almost all major rugby matches all over the world and has developed a second career on the sidelines as author and co-author of more than 30 bestselling books.
