Ed Vaizey MP, the minister within the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills who is most responsible for the start-up and venture sector, will chair a showcase event in which 10-15 VC-backed companies from the pre-revenue stage to $5M in revenue, will present their businesses in two minutes to an audience compromising the VC community, the Mayor's team, entrepreneurs, officials, investors and the media. This will be followed by a reception supported by the office of the Mayor of London.
