First Time Fundraising Workshop

Following the success of last year's workshop, the BVCA is delighted to host the First Time Fundraising Workshop again this year. The workshop is designed for management teams who are new to running an independent private equity or venture capital firm and are setting out to raise their first fund.

This is an important initiative within the BVCA's annual calendar to help foster and support the future leaders of our industry.

Given changes in the industry and its continuing evolution, many teams are entering unknown territory. Whether you've spun out a captive fund that is now seeking third-party investors or you're setting up your own operation, this valuable and timely workshop will help you:

  • Learn from the experience of other first time fundraisers
  • Hear what LPs are looking for
  • Ensure you are fully informed on matters relating to:
          -The fundraising process
          -Management entity structure
          -Carried interest and co-investment schemes
          -Fund structuring
          -Fund domiciles
          -Regulation
-Meet the specific needs of LPs
          -And other areas

The workshop is reserved for GPs only and registration is essential.
