We will present findings from one of the first quantitative studies on venture debt including the average stage, size, sector and location of companies taking loans.

Three of Europe's leading venture debt firms - ETV Capital, Kreos Capital and Noble Venture Finance will discuss the current trends and obstacles faced by companies who have taken a venture loan over the past few years and those considering venture debt for the first time.

We have seen the venture debt industry in Europe grow very rapidly from a nascent industry in the late 90's to one that reached a peak in 2007, with lending representing over 10% of all VC investment in the UK.
