Membership Type Definitions
General Partners – private equity and venture capital firms that make direct investments into companies
Professional Services – accounting firms, advisory firms, law firms or other firms that support the private equity industry
Financial – firms that provide financial services within the private equity industry. This typically includes the use of debt and debt-like instruments
Investor – firms that invest into the private equity funds
Academic – academic institutions that produce research related to the private equity and venture capital industry
Honorary – government agencies and organisations, including other national associations related to private equity or venture capital
