EU AIFM - Update No. 6

As anticipated, few developments in the campaign on the EU AIFM Directive have occurred over the New Year break; however we are aware that HM Treasury and the FSA continue to hold further cross-industry meetings to discuss progress.  While little of note has emerged from these over and above the last update, the BVCA alongside EVCA is co-ordinating efforts to encouraged MEPs to table amendments to the Gauzès Report in advance of the 21 Jan deadline. We will be able to give a clearer update on this push when those amendments are formally published after this date.
