BVCA launches LP Advisory Board

Objective:
The LP Advisory Board will work to identify common interests between members of the wider investment community, and to find effective methods by which to combine interests of diverse parties within that community. It will look to establish an effective feedback loop between the LP and GP communities, and to advise the BVCA on its strategies and approaches to engage with institutional investors and other relevant parties of the private equity and venture capital industry.
Chaired by Robert Coke, head of absolute return and buyout at the Wellcome Trust, the board comprises:
George Anson, managing director, HarbourVest
Gillian Brown, head of private equity, British Airways Pension Investment Management
William Gilmore, head of private equity, Scottish Widows Investment Partnership
Simon Jamieson, director, FF&P Asset Management
Khaled Khouri, director of private equities, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority
Spencer Miller, managing director, OPTrust Private Markets Group
Philip Rotheram, senior vice president, Kuwait Investment Office
Vicky Wilson, head of private equity, BP Pension Fund
