To support the Glover review on Procurement, which is expected to be submitted to Government later this year, the BVCA has initiated and led some research focused on promoting the increased use of SMEs in Government Procurement.

This substantial piece of research, which supports and further illuminates some well understood issues, was undertaken by Freshminds on behalf of the BVCA, the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) and the Confederation of British Industry (CBI). Of specific interest are the detailed case studies that exemplify the points made.
This is a key initiative led by Ernie Richardson of the “Public Policy” working party of the Venture Capital Committee on behalf of the BVCA Venture Capital community.
