Shirin Dehghan, Partner, Frog Capital
Shirin Dehghan, a former technology entrepreneur and CEO who co-founded telecoms software company, Arieso, in 2002, understands the challenges facing CEOs during the ‘Scale-Up’ phase and knows what is takes to succeed: she raised venture capital, grew to 50 tier-1 customers in 30 countries and to over €40m in revenues, and successfully exited Arieso at 40x EBITDA; thus returning 5x to investors. She has since been appointed Executive Chairwoman to OpenSignal in 2016, which has seen 500% growth in two years. Shirin is now a partner at Frog Capital, ‘The CEO’s VC’, whose focus is to help businesses during the ‘Scale-Up’ phase. “I had an incredible journey at Arieso, learning so much from our scale-up journey, as well as my turn around experience at OpenSignal as Chairwoman. When thinking about joining a VC, I looked for a genuine platform for helping CEOs scale their businesses.”
