Leon de Bono, Assistant Director General
Leon de Bono is the BVCA's Assistant Director General and Director of Membership Services. Before joining the BVCA in 2010 he was the Publishing Director and a member of the team that launched Private Equity News, part of eFinancialNews, which was acquired by Dow Jones in 2007. He began working in the private equity industry with Caspian Media in 2001. He has a BA from University College London and an MA from The Courtauld Institute.
Katie May, Director, InCloudCounsel
Katie is the Director, Sales at InCloudCounsel in the UK overseeing the EMEA region. Prior to InCloudCounsel, Katie practiced in the debt finance team at Norton Rose Fulbright LLP and spent time working in Amsterdam and on secondment at MUFG. She also worked in-house at Emirates NBD. Katie studied at Durham University.
Elizabeth Freeth, General Counsel, Bluegem Capital Partners
Elizabeth Freeth is the General Counsel of Bluegem Capital Partners LLP.
Before joining Bluegem in November 2017, Elizabeth worked in the investment funds team at Kirkland & Ellis International LLP in London. She completed her training contract at Dechert LLP in London.
Elizabeth has a law degree from Manchester University and is a qualified solicitor.
