Dubai & UK: Reciprocal Trade & Investment Opportunities

A BVCA intimate in-person breakfast event exclusively for our LP and GP members. Held under Chatham House Rule.

Overview

Explore opportunities for growth, partnership, and innovation in Dubai, the city of the future, the gateway to growth markets and the global business hub.

Dubai Government’s concerted efforts – including multiple aspects of future-ready governance, development of human capital, increasing connectedness, and fostering innovation – have positioned Dubai as the pre-eminent global location for fast-growth businesses that transcend geographical barriers. Today, Dubai is the preferred global Foreign Direct Investment destination for more than 70 percent of Fortune 500 companies and new economy entrepreneurs alike.

The UAE-UK Sovereign Investment Partnership (SIP), is an investment framework to deepen cooperation between the two countries and facilitate economic growth post-COVID. It will see investments in the sectors of health, technology, clean energy and infrastructure over a 5-year period, building upon existing ties between the UK and the UAE.
