Towards COP27: The Road from Glasgow to Sharm el-Sheikh

Overview

Join Pollination and the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (BVCA) for the third expert panel discussion in our three-part series on the significance of COP26 for investors. The previous webinar summarised important announcements that emerged from the negotiations in Glasgow and provided an analysis of how successful COP26 was in delivering on its objectives, as well as what it all means for investors.

The third webinar will summarise trends observed towards operationalising delivery plans in the wake of COP26 and how commitments are being implemented on the ground. We will also provide an overview of developments in international carbon markets in light of the negotiations on Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. This will include insights for both compliance and voluntary market participants following the proliferation of corporate net zero commitments. Finally, the discussion will look ahead to COP27 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt to provide an overview of key themes we anticipate will be front and centre at the first COP to be hosted in Africa. As always, this webinar will have a particular focus on implications for investors.

Please note this is a BVCA member only event.
