Join Pollination and the BVCA for an expert panel discussion on the significance of COP26 for investors and how global markets are shifting focus from the risks to the opportunities presented by the net zero transition.

The first webinar in this three-part series will introduce the COP process and provide insights into the significance of COP26 in Glasgow and the building momentum on global decarbonisation. This session explores the latest science described as ‘code red for humanity’, the impact of governments setting increasingly ambitious targets and promising more aggressive spending, stakeholders exerting greater pressure and the proliferation of private sector commitments to net zero. It will also provide industry insights into how investors are increasingly re-thinking traditional value creation models to capitalise on this rapidly changing landscape and unlock ‘transition alpha’ within their portfolios.

The panel
  • Michael Moore, Director General, BVCA (host and moderator)
  • Maria Carradice, Managing Director, Portfolio – ESG, Mayfair Equity Partners and Chair, RI Advisory Group, BVCA
  • Barney Coles, Managing Director and Co-head of Clean Energy Infrastructure, Capital Dynamics
