Xeros

Xeros is an environmentally-friendly cleaning company with products that clean clothes using very little water.

Located at the Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP) near Rotherham, South Yorkshire, Xeros has developed a commercial cleaning system uses up to 80% less water, 50% less energy, and approximately 50% less detergent to deliver superior cleaning results compared to conventional washing.

The technology was launched into the commercial laundry market in late 2012 and is now selling its commercial laundry systems in the UK, Europe and the US.

Enterprise Ventures first invested in the business in 2009 alongside IP Group after it spun out from Leeds University, and participated in further rounds of funding alongside new investors. In May 2014 Xeros floated on AIM with a market capitalisation of £80 million.
