BVCA Policy & Technical Update - September 2023

This month we cover new FCA rules on approving financial promotions, IOSCO’s report on private market systemic risk, the European Commission’s review of SFDR, the Foreign Influence Registration Scheme contained in the National Security Act, the BVCA’s response to HMRC’s consultation on draft legislation and guidance on OECD’s Pillar two programme and the UK Endorsement Board survey-based report into the accounting and reporting for intangible items. We also look at the launch of the Taskforce for Nature Related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) framework and the City of London Corporation’s: A Global Centre for Nature Finance report, produced in collaboration with PwC and supported by the Green Finance Institute, the BVCA’s response to HMT’s consultation on draft R&D legislation and the live consultations on our agenda.
