BVCA welcomes Green Investment Bank appointments
Two members of the BVCA’s Energy, Environment and Technology Board (EETB) have been appointed to the UK Green Investment Bank (GIB).
The Department of Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) today (27th September) announced Shaun Kingsbury, a partner at Hudson Clean Energy Partners, as Chief Executive, and Tom Murley, head of renewable energy at HgCapital and chair of the EETB, as a non-executive director.
Mark Florman, Chief Executive of the BVCA, said: “The Green Investment Bank has a vital role to play in the development of a low carbon economy in the UK and so it is very welcome news indeed that Shaun Kingsbury has been appointed as its Chief Executive. His sector knowledge is second to none and Shaun, along with Tom Murley, has been at the forefront of the BVCA’s renewable energy work for many years now. I look forward to continuing our close relationship in their new roles.”
