BVCA welcomes Impetus-PEF intention to merge
Welcoming the announcement of the planned merger between Impetus Trust and the Private Equity Foundation, Mark Florman, Chief Executive of the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA), said:
"I am delighted that Impetus Trust and the Private Equity Foundation have announced their intention to merge into one entity. Both organisations have much in common and their success over the last 10 years is testament to the power and potential of venture philanthropy to change lives. Together they can achieve even greater success and the vision of reaching and helping more deprived people to break free from poverty is now closer. On behalf of all BVCA members we wish Impetus - The Private Equity Foundation every success for the future. We know that together, and aided by the entire private equity community, the new organisation will become the one-stop shop for engaged giving and help more children and young people to get the start in life they need."
