Venture Capital Committee

The Venture Capital Committee of the BVCA exists to support the interests of the UK venture industry and the high-growth companies that it backs. The Committee does so by:

  • Providing support to venture firms' fundraising efforts by supplying appropriate industry data, insights and making the case for the asset class
  • Telling the story of entrepreneurship to a wider audience, and showing how venture capital supports entrepreneurs, changes lives and builds jobs in the UK and Europe
  • Achieving high levels of venture membership and ensuring there is a high level of satisfaction with the service the BVCA provides
  • Promoting an entrepreneurial economy through appropriate fiscal and regulatory policies

The terms of reference for our Council, Committees and Advisory Groups are included in the BVCA Governance Handbook. The Handbook provides directors, members and employees of the BVCA with a summary of our governance structure and supplements the Articles of Association.
