Monica Vinader, Founder and CEO wins BVCA Inspirational Women Award
Monica Vinader, the founder and CEO of Monica Vinader has won the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (BVCA) ‘Inspirational Women Award’ for 2025.
Born out of the Government’s ‘women-led high-growth enterprise taskforce’, the Award aims to inspire the next generation of female entrepreneurs by celebrating the success of leaders from high growth businesses backed by private equity and venture capital.
The initiative will help to meet ‘opportunity 6’ identified in the taskforce’s report published earlier last year- to inspire girls and women to expand career choices and strive for female entrepreneurship.
The independent judging panel comprised of past BVCA Chairs which included, Cheryl Potter, chair of the judging panel and non-executive director of Level 20 and Marks & Spencer, Helen Steers MBE, partner at Pantheon and Kerry Baldwin, managing partner at IQ Capital and Dame Anne Glover, chief executive of Amadeus Capital Partners.
The judges recognised Monica as an extraordinary entrepreneur whose commitment to building a purpose-driven, high-growth business has transformed the luxury jewellery landscape and inspired a generation of female founders. Her values-led leadership sets her apart as an inspirational founder and CEO, building a brand with sustainability, transparency, and inclusion at its heart. Monica has shown enduring dedication to using her business to drive wider change in society and commitment to empowering women.
Monica was announced the winner of the Award, taking place last night at BVCA’s flagship Summit Main Conference at Sancroft in London.
