Wales and South West Dinner


Our established series of dinners feature high-calibre speakers and an audience drawn from all parts of the private equity and venture capital community, making it an ideal networking event to raise your profile and entertain your clients. All proceeds from fundraising are donated to charity. The Wales and South West Dinner will also host the BVCA's Regional Management Team Awards, which will recognise and celebrate the industry's success stories within the region.

Leo Johnson

After Oxford and INSEAD, Leo Johnson, Head of PwC's Disruption practice, joined the World Bank as a Resource Economist before co- founding the boutique advisory firm Sustainable Finance, since acquired by PwC Group. Leo is now a Visiting Business Fellow at Oxford University's Smith School of Enterprise & the Environment, a judge on the Financial Times’ Boldness in Business awards, and a regular presenter for BBC World. TV credits include Changing the Rules, Down to Business, One Square Mile and World Challenge. He co-presents Radio 4’s flagship series FutureProofing and is an occasional commentator for the Financial Times, New Statesman, Evening Standard and Wall Street Journal. He also co-authored Turnaround Challenge: Business & the City of the Future. .  

Dress Code

Black tie and evening/cocktail dress


Roasted peppers served with mozzarella, garlic and basil oil

Roast fillet of Lackham Farm Beef served with parsley mash, spring green in a rosemary and thyme jus

Trio of desserts with chocolate mousse, passion fruit brulee and a blueberry meringue
