Overview
GP led secondaries have come to dominate the volume of secondary transactions in recent years and are becoming a permanent feature of the private equity landscape. This forum will focus on the opportunities and challenges for both LPs and GPs, and how different perspectives are communicated and managed. The forum will address the demand there is from LPs – weighing up the extent to which LPs view GP led secondaries as a new source of opportunity to partner further with GPs on specific portfolio companies. The panellists will draw on their experience to de-mystify this growing segment of the secondaries market.
The BVCA's LP-GP forums are topic-specific breakfast forums, taking place throughout the year in London. These forums are held under Chatham House rules to encourage as much interaction as possible for a productive discussion.
Please note this is a BVCA LP and GP member only event.
