Overview
The BVCA's LP-GP forums are topic-specific breakfast forums, taking place throughout the year in London. These forums are held under Chatham House rule to encourage as much interaction as possible for a productive discussion.
The past two years have seen an unparalleled period of dislocation in the fundraising market, arguably more extreme than the industry’s experience during the global financial crisis. In the context of this fractious and variable market, this forum will seek to discuss and debate some of the key elements of terms and alignment between GPs and LPs.
After years of innovation during which GPs have often held the balance of market power, what is the future for innovations such as NAV lines and continuation funds? Do the traditional fee-and-carry models still underpin the right balance of partnership for both sides?
Join us as we debate these vital dynamics, looking back at the past year and also forward to 2024.
Please note this is a BVCA LP and GP member only event.
