Course overview
We are pleased to announce the second in the BVCA Training ESG training series – following on from our ESG strategy course. This course comes at a time when ESG remains a hot topic for the sector and organisations are coming under increased pressure to tackle the impacts of climate change and make public disclosures about their Net Zero commitments. In addition, claims of ESG Green Washing and the increasing ESG legislation agenda are driving the need for consistency of meaningful ESG actions, and transparency of disclosures.
This course will examine where Climate Change fits into the ESG sphere and a company’s ESG strategy. Industry experts will advise on the steps which need to be taken to quantify your organisation’s climate impact by calculating the carbon footprint and provide practical steps for meaningful target implementation and guidance on how to develop and deliver a carbon reduction plan.
