Richard Fuller MP shown how leak detection technology is protecting constituents in North Bedfordshire
SOS Leak Detection Ltd showcased their award-winning technology to Richard Fuller MP, during his visit to the North Bedfordshire-based company, last week. The MP heard how SOS locate, classify and resolve leaks, providing residential and commercial buildings with non-invasive and advanced remedial services.
The visit, facilitated by the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (BVCA), provided North Bedfordshire’s MP with the opportunity to meet the SOS team at their headquarters in Wyboston. He heard about how the business operates, and its services, which span internal and external pipework, heating systems, flat roofs and damp surveys, with additional capabilities in water sampling and asbestos testing.
The MP was shown SOS’s industry-leading technologies first-hand. With over 15,000 escape-of-water incidents in the last 3 years alone, the company has earned a reputation for excellence that benefits its customers in the region and across the UK.
SOS’s progress has been supported by YFM Equity Partners, who provided investment and expertise derived from their deep knowledge of business development, helping to scale its operations and complement organic growth by progressing its direct-to-customer business.
BVCA research shows that private equity and venture capital backed businesses headquartered in North Bedfordshire support over 1,200 jobs.
