Cristina Alba-Ochoa is the CFO of OakNorth, the multi-billion dollar global fintech firm focused on unlocking the potential in SME lending. She is an inclusive leader who is responsible for developing, adapting and maintaining a robust control environment across the Group’s finance. She stays very close to the day-to-day financial controllership, tax compliance, Treasury, and financial planning activities, and has played a central role in helping the business raise over $1bn from several investors at a $2.8bn valuation.
Prior to joining OakNorth, Cristina spent 18 years at GE Capital International where her last role was to lead a team of experienced senior finance managers and analysts who facilitated the management of over $100bn worth of sales across multiple jurisdictions.

Delaney Brown is the Managing Director, Head of Private Equity Funds (London Office) at CPPIB.
Prior to joining CPPIB, Delaney spent eight years at Hermes GPE LLP (formerly Hermes Private Equity) as Head of the Americas, focused on both private equity fund investment and co-investment. Previously, Delaney was an Associate Director with Almeida Capital in London and a Research Scientist for GlaxoSmithKline in the U.K.
Delaney holds a BSc (First Class Honours) in Biochemistry from the University of Leeds.
Chief Economist, EY
Mark Gregory is the Chief Economist at EY in the UK & Ireland providing knowledge, analysis and insight to help businesses understand the economic environments in which they operate. He is a business economist with over 25 years’ experience in more than 40 countries as an advisor to the Governments and industry on economics, policy and regulation. This includes working with the Governments of Argentina and the World Bank to develop solutions to the debt and economic crisis in 1989 and 1990.
Mark is the sponsoring partner for EY’s Economics for Business Programme and EY ITEM Club, the UK’s leading independent economic forecast. Mark works with both the private and public sectors, supporting economic development, growth and regeneration. Mark is a key contributor to EY’s economic offering across the globe.
Prior to Mark’s Chief Economist role at EY, he was Global Head of Strategy & Business Development for Wireless at IBM and worked with clients to understand the implications of economic and market developments for their business models, cost structures and processes.
Partner, Head of Consumer, Permira
Cheryl Potter is Partner and Co-Head of the Consumer team at Permira, an international investor focused on consumer, healthcare, financial services, industrials and technology. She has worked on numerous transactions including Allegro Group, Arcaplanet, Creganna, Dr. Martens, Homebase, Iglo Group (and its subsequent acquisition of Findus Italy), Maxeda and Schustermann & Borenstein. She has recently been appointed as Chair of the BVCA Council, for 2018/19.
Prior to joining Permira, Cheryl worked at Royal Bank Development Capital. Previously she spent six years at Arthur Andersen in Manchester and London.
Cheryl has a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Liverpool, England, and is a Chartered Accountant.
