Delaney Brown is the Managing Director, Head of Private Equity Funds (London Office) at CPPIB.

Prior to joining CPPIB, Delaney spent eight years at Hermes GPE LLP (formerly Hermes Private Equity) as Head of the Americas, focused on both private equity fund investment and co-investment. Previously, Delaney was an Associate Director with Almeida Capital in London and a Research Scientist for GlaxoSmithKline in the U.K.

Delaney holds a BSc (First Class Honours) in Biochemistry from the University of Leeds.

Lisa Edgar is a Managing Director and member of the Investment Committee at Top Tier Capital Partners. She focuses on manager selection, due diligence and investment monitoring of Top Tier’s primary investments. Leveraging her 25 years of experiences, Lisa is particularly interested in helping up-and-coming micro funds structure themselves for success in the future, including strategic fundraising, thoughtful portfolio construction, effective capital deployment and management succession. When she is not advising our GPs and LPs, Lisa is supporting diversity within private equity with the intent that the profile of venture firms mirrors those who are benefiting from the capital deployed by those firms. Lisa joined Top Tier’s predecessor firm Paul Capital in 2003. Prior to Top Tier, Lisa was part of the asset management team at WR Hambrecht + Co focusing on new and emerging private equity funds. Before that, she spent ten years at Horsley Bridge Partners. Lisa began her career as an analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Lisa graduated from the University of San Francisco with a B.S. in applied economics and an M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business.

Daniel Sasaki is a founder of Mayfair and is the firm's Managing Partner.

Daniel has been investing in TMT and Consumer businesses globally for the past 20 years. Prior to Mayfair, he led the investment effort of LDC’s London office, where he completed a number of high-profile investments including Easynet Global Services, Fever-Tree and uSwitch. Before joining LDC, Daniel had a successful investment career at Credit Suisse First Boston and SOFTBANK Europe Ventures, where he was the UK Head.

Born in the US and raised in the US and Japan, Daniel started his career as a corporate lawyer on Wall Street for Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. He was admitted to the New York Bar and remains a Member of the American Bar Association.

Leila Zegna is a founding partner at Kindred Capital, a London-based venture capital firm founded in 2015. Kindred is pioneering so-called equitable venture, where they share the profit of the fund (the carried income) with every entrepreneur they invest in - turning founders into partners in every sense of the word. Leila is on the board of companies including Kalo, Verve, and LabGenius, and serves as senior advisory board member to Entrepreneur First. She is both an investor and an entrepreneur, with over a decade of operating experience in technology businesses, including co-founding her own health technology business in Silicon Valley. Leila is a mathematician by training with a first class degree from Yale University and a Harvard MBA.
